Before my concussion, I had lots and lots of summer goals. After the concussion, I drastically narrowed my goals. One of the main ones was to talk a walk in the meadow in June. It HAD to be when very specific flowers were blooming: clover, alfalfa, daisies, false baby’s breath, and buttercups. These are the flowers of my childhood; the flowers that made me love flowers.
Of course, the best way to do it would be while wearing an antique Edwardian dress!
My friend and I took turns documenting by taking photos of each other. She gets all of the photo credit for these.
At the edge of one of the fields was a forest.
All of the sudden I realized I had forgot to check for poison ivy and I was standing in a patch of it. The horrors!
I had to take a large jump to get out of it without walking through more.
I can’t wait to take another walk like this!
So beautiful Rebekah
